A. Public recognition of six employees through the County's Spotlight on Employees Program, as follows: Estelle Belarde, Eric Mariscal, Alfonzo Alvarez, Crystal Singleton, Stephanie Johnson, and Taylor Cummings. (Erica Raymond)
3. REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS:
A. Information/Discussion/Action to approve an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the Phoenix Police Department and the Gila County Sheriff's Office (GCSO) whereby the GCSO, acting as an Affiliate Agency, will continue to assist the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force for a period of five years after the IGA becomes effective. B. Information/Discussion/Action to authorize the Gila County School Superintendent to sign a Memorandum of Understanding that is between the Gila County Education Service Agency and the Gila County Library District, which collaborates a partnership to provide educational resources to the adults of Gila County to earn a GED/HSE. (Roy Sandoval)
C. Information/Discussion/Action to adopt Resolution No. 24-06-02 accepting amendments to the Agreement and Declaration of Trust of the Arizona Local Government Employee Benefit Trust to extend the Agreement and Declaration of Trust to July 1, 2044, and remove language regarding the location of the Principal Office. (James Menlove)
D. Information/Discussion/Action to approve Economic Development Agreement No. 05012024, with Bullion Plaza Cultural Center and Museum, Inc., in the amount of $10,000 that the Board has determined to be for the benefit of the public. (Maryn Belling)
E. Information/Discussion/Action to approve Contract Agreement No. CTR056376 with APIC Solutions, Inc. in the amount of $883,968.45 for the purchase and implementation of a video surveillance system for Gila County facilities. (Joseph Dickison)
F. Information/Discussion/Action to approve Amendment No. 2 to Contract No. 072721 - Sub-Grantee for Project Management (Health Disparities) with WOWZA, LLC, to extend the contract term for one year, from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, and decrease the contract amount by $175,000 for a new contract amount not to exceed $375,000. G. Information/Discussion/Action to approve Amendment No. 2 to Contract No. 091521 - Sub-Grantee for Project Management - Workforce Development Crisis Emergency Cooperative Agreement Grant with WOWZA, LLC to extend the contract term for one year, from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, and decrease the contract amount by $75,000 for a new contract amount not to exceed $200,000. H. Information/Discussion/Action to approve Amendment No. 3 to Intergovernmental Agreement No. 012621 with the Town of Miami to extend the term for one additional year, from June 1, 2024, through May 31, 2025, and establish the cost for road grading at a cost of $99 per hour for the maintenance of Mackey Camp Road. 4. CONSENT AGENDA ACTION ITEMS: (Any matter on the Consent Agenda will be removed from the Consent Agenda and discussed and voted upon as a regular agenda item upon the request of any member of the Board of Supervisors.)
A. Adoption of Resolution No. 24-06-01 authorizing Gila County Probation Department's participation in the FY2024-2025 Family Counseling Program through the Arizona Supreme Court, Administrative Office of the Court, Juvenile Justice Services Division, and certifying that a matching fund requirement of $1,906 for the Program will be provided by the County.
B. Approval of Amendment No. 2 to Professional Services Contract No. 050522 with Clark Arizona Legal Services to extend the contract for one year, from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, in a not to exceed amount of $89,100.
C. Approval of Amendment No. 1 to Arizona State Contract No. CTR058878 with Woodson Engineering & Surveying, Inc. to extend the contract through September 30, 2024.
D. Acknowledgment of the transfer of ownership of a 2016 Ford transit DUI van to the Arizona State University Police Department, per the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety letter dated April 4, 2024.
E. Acknowledgment of the April 2024 monthly activity report submitted by the Recorder's Office.
F. Acknowledgment of the April 2024 monthly activity report submitted by the Clerk of the Superior Court's Office.
G. Acknowledgment of April 2024 monthly activity report submitted by Globe Regional Constable's Office.
H. Acknowledgment of the April 2024 monthly activity report submitted by the Payson Regional Constable's Office
I. Acknowledgment of the report for the County Manager approved contracts under $50,000 for the month of April 2024.
J. Approval of the Board of Supervisors' April 2, 2024, April 18, 2024, and May 7, 2024, meeting minutes.
5. CALL TO THE PUBLIC: A call to the public is held for public benefit to allow individuals to address the Board of Supervisors on any issue within the jurisdiction of the Board of Supervisors. Board members may not discuss items that are not specifically identified on the agenda. Therefore, pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute § 38-431.01(H), at the conclusion of an open call to the public, individual members of the Board of Supervisors may respond to criticism made by those who have addressed the Board, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be put on a future agenda for further discussion and decision at a future date.
