Information/Discussion/Action to adopt Proclamation No. 2025-02 proclaiming March 29, 2025, as National Vietnam War Veterans Day in Gila County to bring awareness of the many sacrifices provided by our Vietnam War Veterans, and to publicly recognize and thank them for their service to our country. B. Information/Discussion/Action to approve an Agreement for Local Border Support that is between the Arizona Department of Public Safety and Gila County Sheriff's Office in the amount of $624,241, of which $308,301 will be used for salary and employee-related expenses for one (1.0 FTE) K-9 Sergeant and two (2.0 FTE) deputies, and $315,940 will be used for the license plate reader program for the performance period beginning July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2026. C. Information/Discussion/Action to authorize the utilization of State Contract No. CTR065806 with Southwest Hazard Control, Inc. as the basis for Gila County Contract No. CTR065806-GC1 for the Michaelson Building Demolition and Abatement Project in the amount of $175,000; and approve Contract No. CTR065806-GC1. D. Information/Discussion/Action to award a contract in response to Request for Proposals No. 110424 - Bleachers Grandstand Project to the sole responsive and responsible bidder, Century Industries, for a total of $513,614. (Joseph Dickison)
E. Information/Discussion/Action to authorize the advertisement of Invitation for Bids No. 011425 - Globe Detention Center Dirt Removal and Fence Clearing. (Joseph Dickison)
F. Information/Discussion/Action to approve Arizona Department of Homeland Security Subrecipient Agreement No. 23-AZDOHS-HSGP-230305-02 to accept the related reallocation grant award for Gila County Active Shooter Operational Coordination in the amount of $12,000 for the performance period of January 1, 2025, to September 30, 2025. G. Information/Discussion/Action to review all responsive bids submitted for Request for Proposals No. 082924 - Design Services for Flood Protection at Campaign Creek in Roosevelt Estates Community; and award Contract No. 082924 to the lowest, most responsive, responsible, and qualified bidder in an amount not to exceed $216,000. H. Information/Discussion/Action to accept Quotation No. 539106 from Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI) to renew a subscription to use ESRI's software program for a period of three years at a cost of $42,200 per year plus sales tax for a total of $139,133.40 beginning in May 2025 through May 2028; and approve the associated Small Enterprise Agreement. L. Information/Discussion/Action vote to go into executive session pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03 (A)(4), for discussion or consideration of Gila County's position regarding Strong Communities Foundation of Arizona, et al. v. Gila County and the Gila County Recorder and to instruct its attorneys regarding the Board's position in pending litigation and/or in settlement discussions conducted in order to avoid or resolve litigation regarding this case.
