PURSUANT TO A.R.S. § 38-431.01, THE GILA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS WILL HOLD A MEETING AT THE GILA COUNTY COURTHOUSE, BOARD OF SUPERVISORS’ HEARING ROOM, 1400 EAST ASH STREET, GLOBE, ARIZONA. ONE OR MORE BOARD MEMBERS MAY PARTICIPATE IN THE MEETING BY TELEPHONE CONFERENCE CALL OR BY INTERACTIVE TELEVISION VIDEO (ITV).  THE MEETING IS ALSO TELEVISED TO THE GILA COUNTY COMPLEX, BOARD OF SUPERVISORS' CONFERENCE ROOM, 610 E. HIGHWAY 260, PAYSON, ARIZONA. 

NOTE:  Per the most recent guidelines from the federal government regarding COVID-19 and to protect citizens, no citizens will be allowed in the Board of Supervisors' hearing room at the Globe Courthouse or at the County Complex, Board of Supervisors' conference room in Payson.  The only exception to this statement is for public hearings.  Citizens may attend the public hearing in person, one at a time, in Globe or in Payson to provide comments.

A.  Approval of Amendment No. 2 to Professional Services Contract No. 031319 with Arizona Planning and Paralegal Solutions to extend the term of the contract for one additional year from April 2, 2021 to April 1, 2022 in a not to exceed amount of $78,000 for the continued provision of a Senior Planner-Independent Contractor.

 

B.  Approval of Arizona Criminal Justice Commission FY 2020 Drug, Gang and Crime Control Grant Agreement No. DC-20-023 in the amount of $66,567 for the period of July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021.

 

C.  Approval to appoint Ms. Cassie Waggoner and Ms. Sammi Jenkins to the Gila County Cooperative Extension Advisory Board to fulfill Mike Henderson's and Twila Cassadore's unexpired terms of office, respectively, which end on December 31, 2021.

 

D.  Authorization for the Chairman to sign corrected Intergovernmental Agreement No. 012621 with the Town of Miami for the maintenance of Mackey Camp Road for one year effective after both parties have signed the Agreement and with up to three additional one-year extensions by mutual agreement of the parties.

 

E.  Approval of four Special Event Liquor License Applications submitted by the Pleasant Valley Community Council, Inc. to serve liquor at the Community Center in Young for special events to be held on the following dates, July 3, 2021, October 8-9, 2021, November 13, 2021 and December 11, 2021.
