PURSUANT TO A.R.S. § 38-431.01, THE GILA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS WILL HOLD A MEETING AT THE GILA COUNTY COURTHOUSE, BOARD OF SUPERVISORS’ HEARING ROOM, 1400 EAST ASH STREET, GLOBE, ARIZONA. ONE OR MORE BOARD MEMBERS MAY PARTICIPATE IN THE MEETING BY TELEPHONE CONFERENCE CALL OR BY INTERACTIVE TELEVISION VIDEO (ITV).  THE MEETING IS ALSO TELEVISED TO THE GILA COUNTY COMPLEX, BOARD OF SUPERVISORS' CONFERENCE ROOM, 610 E. HIGHWAY 260, PAYSON, ARIZONA. 

NOTE:  Per the most recent guidelines from the federal government regarding COVID-19 and to protect citizens, no citizens will be allowed in the Board of Supervisors' hearing room at the Globe Courthouse or at the County Complex, Board of Supervisors' conference room in Payson.  The only exception to this statement is for public hearings.  Citizens may attend the public hearing in person, one at a time, in Globe or in Payson to provide comments.

A.  Approval of Amendment No. 3 to Contract No. 120617-Security Service for Globe Courthouse and Payson Courthouse with CBI Security Services, Inc. to extend the term of service for one year, from July 10, 2021, to July 9, 2022, for an annual rate of $201,500.

 

B.  Approval for the Board Chairman to electronically sign Arizona Criminal Justice Commission Victims' Rights Program Award Agreement, FY2022 No. VC-2022-004 in the amount of $53,341.00 to cover the existing salary and employee-related expenses for a full-time advocate for the period July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022.

 

C.  Approval of Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No. 050720 with the Law Offices of Daniel Thulin to extend the term of the contract for one additional year, from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022; and to increase the contract amount by $27,000 for a new total contract amount not to exceed $62,800.

 

D.  Approval of Amendment No. 5 to Professional Services Contract No. 051418 with the Law Offices of Samantha Sue Elledge PLLC to extend the term of the contract for one additional year from July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022; and to decrease the contract by $68,200 for a new not to exceed contract amount of $11,000.

 

E.  Approval of Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No. 060920 with Law Offices of Timothy V. Nelson to extend the term of the contract for one additional year, from July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022.

 

F.  Approval of Amendment No. 3 to Professional Services Contract No. 040819 with Diana G. Montgomery, PLLC to extend the term of the contract for one additional year from July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022; and to increase the contract amount by $9,000 for a new total contract amount not to exceed $88,000.

 

G.  Acknowledgment of the June 2021 monthly activity report submitted by the Globe Regional Justice of the Peace's Office.

 

H.  Acknowledgment of the June 2021 monthly activity report submitted by the Payson Regional Justice of the Peace's Office.
